Trend Watch Wednesday: Mad About Peacoats

I'm not sure if it's because I work in marketing or because I simply love the time period of the show, but I am obsessed with Mad Men , AMC's smash drama . I'm not sure what I love more about it? Mr. Hottie- Don Draper or the gorgeous, 60's-era fashion.


So today's TWW is inspired by the cute peacoats sported by Joan, Betty and Peggy. All the coats you see below came from my fave store, the faboosh Francesca's*.

    LOVE all of these... I am allergic to wool, though, so sometimes wearing such cute coats itches me to death... but nothing a cotton scarf around the neck won't cure ;)

    I loooove the almost cape-like silhouette of that Roosevelt jacket! And the red? Adorable!! I can't wait to break out of storage my winter white JCREW car coat! Only a few more weeks of this chilly weather and it's back in the wardrobe!!

    I'm addicted to peacoats! It drives my husband CRAZY. He doesn't understand why anyone would need 10 coats in 10 different colors ;-)

    I love Pea Coats- I'm def. due for a new one this year! The Fleur de Lis is my favorite, although I love the turquoise as well!
