The holidays can be such a stressful time for so many people, especially us girls! It makes my head spin just thinking about how busy the next couple of months will be!
Thus the reason for my "Surviving the Holidays" series. Each week, I'll feature tips and tricks that will hopefully make your holiday months a little less stressful.
This week, I thought I'd zero in on hostess gifts! It's always a good rule of thumb to give a small token of appreciation to the hostess of the get-together. Here are a few ideas for ya'll:
Antique Silver Spreaders from Pottery Barn- $19 (set of 2)
Chocolicious Recipe Notecards from Galison.com- $10
Fleur-De-Lis votive from Frenchquartermarket.com- $8
Eiffel Tower French Toast Stamp from spoonsisters.com- $3.95
Modern Geometry Memo Box Set from Galison.com- $10
Eiffel Tower French Toast Stamp from spoonsisters.com- $3.95
Modern Geometry Memo Box Set from Galison.com- $10
Williams-Sonoma Gourmet Olive Oil set from Gifts.com- $39.95
I also realize that it may not be in everyones' budgets to purchase tons of hostess gifts, but a homemade tray of delicious cookies or homemade hot cocoa mix are also great gift ideas! Get creative, make it personal and don't forget to include a thank you note!
My holidays aren't as stressful as they used to be (I have fewer commitments now), but I'm still looking forward to reading the series. Love these hostess gifts!

ReplyDeleteI plan to bookmark this post b/c I have the HARDEST time with hostess gifts! GREAT ideas. For.reals. I often get the fancy wine preserver pump from Williams Sonoma, but it's kinda pricey for a random hostess gift...or for someone you dont know drinks or not...
