Trend Watch Wednesday: {Ladylike Jackets}

One of my favorite spring trends is the ladylike jacket! It's positively perfect for the sunny yet brisk weather that this season is known for.

I love to wear mine with cropped boyfriend jeans (tight roll them for extra cool points) and frayed denim shorts, which is a great way to keep the look from becoming too prissy.

When looking for your perfect feminine jacket this spring, consider the following:



-Look for rich textiles like tweed to add dimension to an outfit.


-Tweed (made popular by Miss Coco herself) is the quickest way to make any outfit look like it cost a fortune.


-Ruffles, pockets and unique buttons are also uber-girly details that make spring jackets so pretty!




-Three-quarter sleeves are perfect for spring and also happen to be the most flattering sleeve length on women!


-Look for cropped ladylike jackets, which elongate the torso and make the waist look teeny weenie!


-Fun colors (like the yellow Kate Spade to the left) are a bonus!


-Piping on the trim also adds lots of dimension and really ups the style factor!
