A Blonde Wedding: {Getting Ready Pics}

Welcome back from the weekend, girls! I hope you all had a great couple of days of rest and relaxation. Ours was wonderful, just wonderful : ) Saturday, we went to a couple of local jewelry stores to look at wedding bands. We both found styles we really liked and it made everything even more real! Only 55 days to go...eep!

All this wedding band finding business made me crave looking at wedding photos on Style Me Pretty this morning. It also made me crave being able to look at our own wedding album in a few weeks...

One of the parts of our wedding photos that I'm most excited about are the pre-ceremony pics of us and our wedding party getting ready. I've always loved "getting ready" pics because they are delightfully candid and, at the same time, touching.

    I love getting ready photos too! I like all the girls in a row fixing each others hair! I tried your poof this weekend on my hair! I need more practice! :-(

    I just want to say that your wedding posts are quickly becoming some of my favorites! I'm 26 and my college sweetheart of 6 years has been dropping many not-so-subtle hints (i.e., asking about ring size, letting it slip that his mom offered him the family ring, etc) so I'm begin to daydream a lot more! :) I love looking at your inspirational photos and hearing about the process of planning.     I love the getting ready pictures too, but I did not love mine. Most of mine were totally unflattering and that may be because I was being rushed by my photographer to get ready and take formal pictures. Whatever you do, make sure you have a great photog that won't rush and boss you around. It is your day! :)

    Oh I saw the dress in the second picture in a magazine and loved it. I found it online and it hurt a little bit...it's so pretty!
