My goodness, y'all! In five days I'll become a Mrs.!
It's so surreal that this week is finally here because it feels like we've been planning this forever. I cannot wait to see my friends and family from out of town this week and also to finalize the last details of our honeymoon next week! There are still some last-minute things to do, but overall, we're done with the planning process and now we just need to get hitched!
It's funny. Up until this weekend, I've been crazy-stressed trying to get everything done. I've been keeping myself up at night worrying about if I'd gotten everything done, worrying if I'd forgotten to do something and making myself sick over the silliest things. But this weekend, it was just like this peace came over me and I'm just so ready to get to Saturday!
I've been praying a lot lately. Praying that I will be a good wife to Stephen, praying that we will always put our relationship before all other things, praying that our marriage will be a long and successful one. I think with that prayer has come a sense of calm, which I can only attribute to God taking over and saying, "You've done enough, let me take it from here."
As a Type A personality to the max, I tend to hear that from God a lot : )
I can't wait to see the love of my life standing at the end of the aisle on Saturday. In fact, I get goosebumps when I think about it. More than anything though, I can't wait to start our life together!
I hope y'all will bear with me this week, as blogging will likely be a bit scattered. Lindy, my amazing style intern, will be blogging about military-inspired fashions on Wednesday, and I'll be touching base with y'all when I get a spare moment here and there.
Stay tuned!
Be blessed, lovelies-
I am so excited for you and Stephen (and I've never even met you!!) and wish you many many years of happiness!!! I can't wait to see pictures and read all about it!

I feel like many brides would be easily caught up in the details of the celebration party and the big day, but it is so refreshing that you are focusing on being that sweet little wifey to your future Hubs.
Much love, peace, and joy prayed for you today! Hugs from KC, girl! :)

ReplyDeleteYay! How exciting that your special weekend is so close. Kathie Lee Gifford often makes comments that when she prays a lot, she realizes there is no need to worry. ;)
ReplyDeleteBest of luck enjoying every second.

ReplyDeleteHappy wedding week! I know everything will go off without a hitch as you get hitched! Can't wait to see pics!
ReplyDeleteI've been married for a little over 2 years now, and I experienced some of the exact same feelings as you are now. After months of planning, there was a point where it was like a weight was lifted off my shoulders and all I could think about was how excited I was for the day to get there. All the stress with RSVPs, seating arrangements, and even the weather just melted away.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy this week...savor those moments with all your friends and family. When it comes to the big day, take some time throughout the day to soak up those memories. It all flies by waaaaay too fast.
Happy Wedding Week!
