Fan Frocks...Found 'Em on Facebook

It’s Friiiiii-day! (One of my very favorite co-workers always says, “It’s Friiiiiiii-day!” and I love it! That would be you Wendi, if you’re reading! )

So.

Tomorrow our Hogs take on Auburn for what should be a very exciting game! Auburn is such a great team with some mega-talented guys, so I know our Razorbacks have their work cut out for them. I have lots of blog and Twitter friends that are Auburn alums, so I always look forward to when we get to play them! : ) We’re ranked 10th in the nation right now and I’d lurve to keep it that way. It would be awesome to win, but honestly, I’m more excited about the yummy chili and coney hotdogs that we’re going to eat while we watch, ha!

Such a closet fat kid, I am.

I’m been bursting at the seams, (which is probably what will literally happen after our weekend of terrible eating commences), to tell y’all about one of my very favorite new finds, Fan Frocks. For starters, lemme' say, this isn’t a paid plug. I found this talented chica on Facebook and bought two dresses from her on the spot. And because she was so easy to work with, (in addition to being just a sweet girl), I wanted to spread the Fan Frocks gospel.

Fan Frocks is the product of Chelsea Silvestri, a registered nurse by day, dress designer extraordinaire by night. She works out of her home in Fayetteville, AR (yep, where S and I live too!) and cranks out some pretty amazing stuff. She specializes in short dresses for gameday for all football, baseball and basketball teams. She also does dresses with sorority letters!

All you have to do is provide her with a tee shirt of your favorite team or sorority, a list of your measurements, and any design specifications and she takes it and creates cuties like these:

She also has TONS of pre-made dresses at her house, so if you live in Northwest Arkansas and MUST HAVE ONE NOW, contact her via FB. I actually went over to her house and tried on dress after dress in her closet, ha!

Tonight, the hubs and my parents and I are going to see Needtobreathe at the AMP in Fayetteville. This is my THIRD time seeing them and I can’t wait. Their new album, The Reckoning, is hot-hot-hot, so get it now on iTunes or at music stores. What I love most about these guys is that they’re a rock band with a Christian-based message. Boys that love Jesus are sexy : )
