Except not really.
At all.
But for someone who usually purchases her Christmas decorations, I've been hitting the glue gun HARD this season. Marriage and home ownership have definitely made me embrace my domestic side and crafting has become a new favorite past-time.
Other than blogging. Blogging is still my Numero Uno, in terms of hobbies. Duh.
Anywho, the pic at the top of the post is actually what inspired my entire Christmas tree theme. After seeing that photo, I wanted purple, gold and animal print...and I wanted it bad.
The first step in creating my "inspired by Olivia" tree was to find some leopard print ornaments, but didn't find any that were less than $30. I found some clear ornaments at Hob Lob and used some wrapping tissue that I purchased last year for a friend's birthday to create my own!
You will need the following: animal print tissue paper, Elmer's Tacky Craft Bond glue, foam paint brush, scissors and clear glass ornaments |
You'll mix up equal parts glue and water in a small bowl. |
Be blessed, lovelies-
