These Are a Few of My Favorite Things, Shawty!

A few of our friends and family have had the privilege of seeing my husband do his rap version of "Favorite Things" via The Sound of Music. Hence the title of this post.

Last night was my hubby's work Christmas party and it gave me a chance to wear my new red dress from a local boutique!

The Christmas spirit from the party carried over into the post for today, apparently! So let's talk about some of the stuff-ola on my Christmas list this year! A few of y'all asked what I would ask Stephen Santa for, so 'hurr it is:

1. Blinc Mascara from blincInc.com- Frankly the best shiz ever. It makes my lashes all fat and sassy. And I'm almost out- eep!

2. Chloe and Max Mono Necklace- No, not mono as in the kissing disease. Monogram. Yer name.

3. J.Crew iPhone Cover- Oh my, this is cute! Therefore, I need it.

4. Versace Bright Crystal Perfume- I got a sample of this from Sephora and suddenly knew I needed to own it. Very fresh, light and femme, it's perfect for us girls that don't take ourselves too seriously.

And if you do, you should stop. Not laughing will kill a girl, ya know?

5. Deborah Lippmann Polish in 'Waking Up in Vegas'- I've been scouring the interwebs for a great mink-ish grey color for my tips and, alas! I found it.

6. Laminated Vamp Shoe from Zara- I'm usually the first to turn my nose up to a pair of flats, but 'lemme tell you, these are sexy....and less than $50. Werd to your Christmas Elf.

7. Rebecca Minkoff Swing Bag- I love, love, love the style of this bag! The gold and fringe and black leather, oh my! Hold on, I need a moment to calm my self down....

So that's it. That's what I'd put on my listy-poo if I were writing one. Which I guess I just did.

Christmas came early for me this year, though, thanks to my friends at McAuley's! I discovered this fabulous store when I was searching for honeymoon dresses. They recently gave me a gift certificate to use on whatever I wanted!

I chose the Judith March Orange and Brown Chiffon Dress and the Cream Cardigan with Gold Sequins!
