#Winning.
Today is all about winners and winning....winners of BCS Championships, winners of monogrammed tote giveaways, a winning blouse, a winning hair poof...the list could go on forever.
But it won't. Pinky swear.
Here are some of my favorite Winners of the Day:
1. 'Bama, for winning the BCS National Championship. Roll Tide! I was tickled pink that we had two SEC teams in the Championship this year. This makes the 7th year in a row that the SEC has won the BCS Championship. Proud that we're a part of it!!
2. Ashley - for winning the monogram tote giveaway from ThirtyOneGifts.com! Ashley was lucky number 157 out of 172. I'll email you with the details in a bit, lady!
3. Know what else is winning? This blouse from Alter'd State (a store out our local outdoor mall.) The brand is YA Los Angeles and it's more comfortable than your favorite worn-in T-shirt, (and a smidge more fashionable.)
4. Alabama's cheerleaders. Their uniforms are possibly the cutest I've ever seen. (And of course I couldn't find a pic online.)
5. Kate Middleton, because she has fabulous style, a degree from prestigious St. Andrews and a royal husband, all of which she nabbed before her 30th birthday, which was yesterday. (Cue the golf clapping sounds.)
6. Chick-Fil-A, for catering our football watching party last night. And by 'catering', I mean Stephen and I went through the drive-thru 30 minutes before the game started.
7. My husband. For agreeing to attend a slew of NWA Fashion Week events with me in March. The jury is still out on whether he's going because he's interested in the local fashion community or because he's afraid I'll buy something. (I'm going to go with the latter.)
8. Chick-Fil-A again, for their winning Chicken Tortilla Soup. Get some now, girls!
9. This cute collarless coat from Old Navy. It has a Holly Golightly feel but with a bright, modern color. What a perfect winter-to-spring transition coat this would make!
...and finally
10. You. That's right, you. The person reading this sentence on this blog right now. You are a winner.
Let's win today, m'kay?
Be blessed, lovelies-
