Tomorrow is dedicated to a long overdue August Savoir-Faire Moment, i.e. outfit pics featuring presh items from SF.
Because of that, I wanted to go ahead and do Confessional
Friday today. Which I suppose would make this Confessional Thursday.
1. I confess that I’ve been eating super clean for the past
week and started running outside again and I can SO tell a difference in the
way I feel. I always want to be able to maintain a fit body and healthy weight,
and fall is great for reinvigorating my love for working out.
2. I confess that I’m already tired of all the political
nonsense. I hate election season with a passion, y’all. I mean, I love that we
have the right to vote, and I definitely have a certain candidate in mind that
I’ll be voting for…but OH MY LORDY. The mudslinging, the bullying, and the
outrageous comments from both sides – I’m ready for a cease-fire. It’s wearing
me out.
3. I confess that I’m
inches away from ordering this peplum jacket from Dorothy Perkins. I mean, wow.
Isn’t she cute?
4. I confess that for the first time in my life, I’m not
“trying to grow my hair out”. It’s long. And I love the length. Yes, it’s a
pain to wash and dry, but oh how I love the versatility of long hair. It took a
while to get here and I won’t be chopping it off in the foreseeable future.
5. I confess that I’m already into Pretty Little Liars. Watched
an epi on Tuesday night and can’t wait to watch another. I love ABC Family
network and I’m not afraid to shout it from the rooftops! (Or from a Blogger
platform.)
6. I confess that the girl I had talked about in a previous post – who liked to share everything about her pregnancy via Facebook – finally
gave birth yesterday. The “I’m in the process of giving birth as we speak”
posts were filled with just as much over-sharing as her previous status updates,
but these had photographic evidence accompanying them.
Lucky us.
Some images never need to grace Facebook’s News Feed. Ever.
7. I got a tweet from a girl the other night that said she has incorporated the word "presh" into her day-to-day vocabulary. She said she credited me for introducing this non-word to her vocab and said she had seen other ladies use the word here and there lately. If I did play a part in this word creation, it was accidental. However, I love to see my slang thrown around the blogosphere. Makes my Southern heart happy. Ha!

Alright, holmes. That’s all I’ve got. Enjoy your Thursday
and get excited to see new threads from Savoir-Faire tomorrow!
Be blessed, lovelies-
PLL is addicting. I'm almost 23 and I love it.
ReplyDeleteSooo let's talk about how you got your hair to the point where you are no longer growing it out? Share some tips chickadee!
ReplyDeleteI need to start clean eating. My sister in law is all about it and I need to follow!
ReplyDeleteHATE the detailed pregnancy facebook posts... some people never cease to amaze me!
So with you on the pregnant facebook 'overshare-ers.' I had a friend on facebook literally give updates on her dilation - to the centimeter. One of her updates even said her 'butt hurt.' Excuse me, what? WHY does anyone think people want to know that stuff? Gross. If you can't stay off facebook while you're giving birth, I'm afraid there's just no hope.
ReplyDeleteI've been eating clean as well...or better then I used to be. And I am still working on eating TOTALLY clean.
ReplyDeleteAs for Pretty Little Liars..I am OBSESSED, so don't feel bad. I can hardly wait for the next tuesday! :)

PLL is one of my favorite shows!! I am like 3 episodes behind - so sad!
ReplyDeleteP.S. - I could do an entire post on oversharers - seriously it is a talent for some. lol
I'm 22 and absolutely love Pretty Little Liars. No shame in my game!
ReplyDeleteI'm hooked into pretty little liars too! But I've only got to see the first two seasons. It's been driving me crazy not getting to see the third!
ReplyDeleteLove ABC Family too! Have you seen 'The Lying Game'? You should check it out, it's great and crazy, just like PLL :)
ReplyDeletewell, then...i'll just go ahead and confess that i, too have one of "those" fb friends that completely overshares when it comes to pregnancy and labor/delivery. so much so that she did post completely revealing pics(!!!) of her labor. jeffrey didn't believe me when i told him, and he was at work so he couldn't look it up. i MAY have saved the picture and sent it to him...surprise! whew - i feel better. (and i promptly deleted it in case you were wondering) ;)
ReplyDeletePretty Little Liars is SO addicting. Can't stop, won't stop. Love love love.
ReplyDeleteI'm curious why your legs are so far apart in all the pictures you take of yourself. Is that a modeling trick or photographer secret? I've heard putting your hands on your hips makes you looks thinner, but I've never heard about the legs. Just curious.
ReplyDeleteThanks for confessing that you're hooked on Pretty Little Liars... my friends and I call it PLL for short so we don't have to actually say in front of a bunch of people, "Hey, are you coming over to watch PRETTY LITTLE LIARS?!" Love it!

Hi Jordin - This is maybe the funniest question I've gotten, ha! I think it shows off the leg line of the short better. Just a personal preference : )
