Welcome to Wednesday, doll babies. It's a gorgeous day here in Northwest Arkansas and I'm about to tackle some email questions. If you've sent an email with a question, yours might be answered below.
(P.S. - Yes, I was going to post outfit photos, but I have a real life job and real life responsibilities that pay real life bills, so I didn't get to dedicate much time to blogging today. Or to photo re-sizing. Hopefully, tomorrow!)
1) What program or programs do you use to create your custom graphics and collages?
Typically, I use Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator, both part of the Adobe Creative Suite, which every blogger needs on hand. It's a bit pricey, but it's practically mandatory for anyone in the creative industry. I'm a professional writer for an agency and sometimes help our graphic designers out with edits, so that's how I've learned the ropes.
I don't do a lot of editing to my photos, simply because I think overly "shopped" photos look redonkulous. However, I love to play with fun actions and filters in Photoshop, especially with pet pics!
2) Are you doing another blog sale soon?
I hope to conduct another sale fairly soon, maybe in January or February. The sale last week went so well and was a pretty seamless process, so there will definitely be sales to come.
3) What kind of facial moisturizer do you use?
I didn't say these questions would be related : ) I am pretty brand loyal. When I wrote about Simone France last year, I meant every word. I really do love that line and especially their French Formula cream.

4) I love shoes, but am on a tight budget. Which styles/colors of shoes are must-haves?
I love shoes also, but don't buy them very often. I rotate about four pairs of shoes, no lie. I have a pair of tan boots from Belle Boutique, a pair of tan Oxford booties from Maude two years ago, a pair of black peep-toe Jessica Simpson heels and a pair of closed toe nude pumps from Target that I wear most frequently.
I tried Toms for weekend casual wear, but didn't like them at all. They look silly on me, but I think they're wonderful on other people. Plus, I'm not big on non-heels : )

Be blessed, lovelies-
I have been slowly accumulating shoes that I don't wear super often because high high heels just don't fit my lifestyle day to day. But on the other hand, I use them for events regularly. It's hard to know what to keep and what not to!
ReplyDeletelove your precious shoes! Too fun!
ReplyDeleteI love your no-nonsense approach to shoes and fashion. I've found that I do better with a few pieces that pair together in many different ways :)
ReplyDeleteGreat answers girlfriend! ox
