Though we’re dealing with some stresses right now, we are
still celebrating this pregnancy and our Little
Bean! It really is such an exciting and joyous time. And to think we're this much closer to the half-way point...gaw!
Just makes me want to
see our babe even more – hurry up, October!
Gender?
We have a pretty good idea, but won't know for certain until the anatomy scan at 20 weeks.
Weight Loss/Gain?
Loss.
Dropped the one measly pound I gained (boo!) putting me still below
pre-pregnancy weight, sigh...Working hard to get some lbs. on, though. My doctor jokingly said he was going to put me on an all-Chick-Fil-A diet, haha!
Cravings?
Food is slowing starting to sound good again and
my appetite is on the rise. Sweets still make me really queasy, but
salty/savory foods like guacamole and queso taste amazing right now. Oh, and
I’m off Zofran. Hooray! Also, I enjoyed my very first half-caff vanilla latte since becoming pregnant yesterday. Yum!
Favorite Moment this Week?
Dress: Wallis (size 2) // Shoes: ASOS (size 7) // Bracelet: Belle Boutique - Rogers |
Buying my first newborn outfit at
Target for our sweet one : )
Funniest Moment this Week?
It actually happened last
weekend, but our 4-year-old niece Ava gave Stephen some advice for how to feed
a baby using his “ta-tas”, ha! She also reminded him that he WILL need to help
change diapers. Thanks, Ava!
Sleeping?
I’ve heard a LOT of expectant moms deal with this
early in their pregnancies, but I have the worst insomnia right now. Like, I
catch my second wind around 10:30 p.m. and I can’t switch it off. Benadryl (as
recommended by our OB) helps on nights when it’s really bad, but there’s not a lot
of shuteye going on at the S household.
Clothes?
So far, just wearing my regular clothes. I am definitely
starting to show and LOVE my bump – woohoo!
Thinking of doing a mommy link-up this spring where we can share tips/secrets on favorite baby products, brands, feeding tips, what worked for you/didn't, etc. What would you moms think about that?
Ohhh my goodness, you look SO CUTE! I love your little bump!!I am praying for your little bean :)
ReplyDeleteYou look great! Wishing all stays well with your little bambinio! And, I may have mentioned this, but Target has the best maternity tanks right now for about $15.00- they're long enough w/ leggings, and super comfy. (I have three) I know they'll get me through the next 12 weeks and after baby- so go get some! And, a link up would be super fun!
ReplyDeleteSo excited to read your pregnancy journey over the next few months. Love your outfit and hair in this post. Praying for you! No one ever tells you scary and worrisome it is to bring a child into this world. There were many nights I would and still stay awake praying for so many uncertainties, but it is all so worth it. Happy Wednesday :)
ReplyDeleteYou have the sweetest little bump! So glad you will be sharing some of your pregnancy here! It goes by so fast! Enjoy every moment!
ReplyDeleteYou look so darling! Been praying for you and your little bean. Would LOVE a mommy link-up! I've got Baby #2 due in August.
ReplyDeleteLoving your adorable little bump! Hoping all is well with you and baby. I was only interested in savory foods (wanted nothing to do with sweets) for the first half of my pregnancy and ours ended up being a little boy, so maybe you and S are having a little man!!! And I would LOVE to participate in the mommy link up. Both to share what I've learned throughout my pregnancy, and to read advice and opinions from fellow mamas to help prepare for the arrival of our little man in June:)
ReplyDeleteLove love these posts!
ReplyDeleteLoving your little bump! I wish I could only say I have gained a lb. I am approaching 17 weeks on Saturday. I would LOVE to do a mommy link up. :-)
ReplyDeleteYou are looking great! Love the dress BTW!
ReplyDeleteYou look great and love the dress! I feel your pain on the sickness...I took zofran twice a day for almost 7 months and then the nausea came back for the last 4 weeks. Other than that I had a perfectly healthy pregnancy, but feeling shaky and queezy all day every day is no fun. The sweet baby boy (now 3 year old) was well worth it though!
ReplyDeleteBless your heart! Morning sickness is no fun! I was on Zofran up until last week (I am 21 weeks pregnant with our first).
ReplyDeleteHang in there!!!
You look adorable and I love your little bump :) I'm 34 weeks along, enjoy it as much as you can because it goes by super fast!!! congrats again!
ReplyDeleteThis dress looks amazing on you!

ReplyDeleteThis is an off topic and weird question but I love the strip on none grass next to your sidewalk. How did you guys remove the grass right there?
