Hey y'all! Just wanted to let you know that I've taken a couple days to recoup and relax. I was really ill all last weekend when we were out of town and Monday was no easier. I couldn't keep any food down at all, i was running a fever and something just didn't feel right. So, I went to the doc Tuesday and learned I have a good-sized ulcer that has made itself cozy in my tummy...blah!!
Apparently, being sick so frequently for so many months, plus all the crazy stress and poor nutrition of those first four months has caused a lovely ulcer to form.
So, I've been working from my couch, trash can close by, enjoying a Cheerios and toast diet and waiting for this thing to heal itself.
Anywhodle, I'll be back Monday...hopefully.
Pregnancy: never a dull moment.
YUCK! My pregnancy caused ulcers, too. And a stomach infection after I had her. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteAwww feel better sweet lady :(
ReplyDeletePoor thing!
ReplyDeleteI suffered from a nearly fatal ulcer when I was 13 (had 6 blood transfusions because of it) so I know this pain.
Sending hugs and prayer for a quick and seamless recovery!
xx
Take it easy! We'll be waiting when you're ready to get back to blogging!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds awful! I hope it heals quickly. Take care and feel better!
ReplyDeleteYou poor thing! Feel better SOON!
ReplyDeleteLeslie, I am praying for you! My cousin, also named Leslie, is due in November so I pray for "the two Leslie's." Glad the Lord knows who you both are. :) I had an ulcer right before I got married because I was super stressed. My mom fell and broke her femur 13 days before my wedding day (she lived 8 hours away) and I was told she couldn't attend my wedding. I wanted to postpone it, but thankfully, she was given the green light to travel down. :) Jesus graciously worked that one out for us. Be blessed and healthy.
ReplyDeleteBless your heart! Praying you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! Girlfriend can't catch a break! Get well soon and enjoy your weekend, Leslie! :)
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon! Thought this little baby onesie quote might make you laugh. I saw it online and started cracking up. "My mother doesn't want your advice." haha I found it on amazon: http://www.amazon.com/MOTHER-DOESNT-WANT-YOUR-ADVICE/dp/B008SDMBOO.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your restful weekend!
