With the frigid temps, I've had to tweak my skincare regime just a bit. Here's what my typical routine is during c-cc-ccc-cold weather!
2. Next, I like to follow up with Mary Kay's Microdermabrasion treatment every three days to keep those pesky dry skin flecks from cropping up.
3. Finally, I follow up with Clinique's Moisture Surge Intense Hydrator. This gel-based moisturizer is the bomb. (I realize nobody has said "the bomb" in a sweet forever, but I'm lame like that.)
4. Now, I love my Luminizing Black Mask by Boscia, but for winter, I also like to throw a good moisturizing mask in the mix. For that, I use Lancome's Hydra-Intense Masque.
It seems like a lot of product, but I assure you that if I can do it with a two month old, you can all do it too!
Let's talk tomorrow again, m'kay? Same time, same place?? I'll bring the words, y'all bring the coffee ; )
I love the Mary Kay Microderm, too! I'll have to try out the Clinique moisturizer -- it looks fantastic!! Hope you are staying warm in these cold temps. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the Clinique moisturizer...it's definitely the bomb!
ReplyDeleteLove that black mask by Boscia...even though I think it frightens my significant other :-)
ReplyDeleteI came so close to buying that Clinique stuff yesterday, now I wish I would have!!
ReplyDeleteI realllllllly want to try the clinique gel based moisturizer.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I am currently in chicago and with windchill it is is negative 40. Without it, we still reached record lows. When Chicago shuts down because of cold, you know it is insanity. This is just wrong.

I just bought the Clinique Moisture Surge last week and LOVE it!!! I even got my husband to try a bit of it and he thought it was amazing!
ReplyDeleteGIRL! My skin is SO dry right now. I am going to try that Clinique hydrator. Thanks for the tips. Your skin is flawless!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing! Skin can be so difficult and flaky for the winter. My normal moisturizer just hasn't been cutting it; I'll have to use one of your suggestions. :)
ReplyDeleteMy skin gets awfully dry and flaky every winter, and my discovery this year that my face LOVES is a super simple, homemade mask made of pumpkin puree (just from a can) and some honey. It works wonders!
