Nobody? Anybody? Bueller??... Bueller??
Yeah, those suck. Unfortunately, they're comin' for all of us. (Or, if you're like me, are already creeping up.) In the past couple years, I've really started to avoid the sun, put more time into skin maintenance and invest more money in skincare products vs. make-up. Below are a few of the products that I really do use to keep fine lines and wrinkles at bay.
Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Peel (Extra Strength) - 5 treatments for $15 // Korres Black Pine Firming, Lifting & Anti-wrinkle Night Cream
All About Eyes Rich Eye Cream by Clinque // Supergoop! Everyday Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 50 (2.4 oz.)
Now, I'll say that my preference for sunless tanning is the Versa booth, (read more about that here), but when I can't get to the spray tanning booth, I keep these products in my make-up drawer as back-up OR to take on vacay when I travel. Both are excellent and give you a healthy glow without the orange, Cheeto-like side effect.
360 Face Self Tanning Pads by Kate Somerville // Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Glow Pads (For Body)
I love the Alpha Beta Glow Pads. I use it on my face once a week and it really does give you a natural look. Did you know they have a fully body Glow Pad?!?!?!
ReplyDeleteOh girl, now you know I'm gonna have to go look for that! How exciting!! Thanks for sharing!!!
DeleteI love Kate Sommerville!
ReplyDeleteI love Korres products -- my skin has looked so good since using that line!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!! I am in the market for new anti-aging cream cannot wait to try some of these products.
ReplyDeleteI've been wanting to try a little something in addition to my daily wash/lotion routine, and I think those alpha beta peels might be just the thing. One question though - are they irritating on fair, sensitive skin? I know you are fair like I am, so I trust your judgment!
ReplyDeleteHey Jessica! I'm definitely fair skinned, but didn't have any issues myself. They do burn a little when you apply the Step One pad, so I would proceed with caution your first time. Maybe try a test patch on your arm first? I didn't have any issues, but I'd say maybe only do them once every ten days while you're first starting out. Good luck!!
DeleteCan you tell me more about the Korres and what you love?
ReplyDeleteI use the Korres as a night cream only. It's thick, so I definitely wouldn't advise using it underneath make-up for daytime, but I do notice a firmer feel to my face in the morning. It also has a clean smell and a little bit goes a looooong way. I think this jar will last me a good six months!
DeleteI stopped using the Versa a few months ago! I had monthly unlimited spraying for three years, but after having so many unprofessional experiences with Sun Tan City, I cancelled my membership :( I am excited to try out the sunless products that you posted!
ReplyDeleteXX, SS || A Little Seersucker Sass
Thanks for these great reviews! I'm always on the lookout for wrinkle fighting options!! :)
ReplyDeleteI use the Peter Thomas Roth Unwrinkle Peel Pads and totally love them. They make a huge difference in how my skin feels and looks.
