I was able to locate every single "bargain" product at one or more of the stores below. If they don't have the products in stock in your city at one of the stores listed below, I linked them for you to places you can get them online for the exact same price : )
I'll preface this by saying, I think some brands/products are worth splurging on if you can (i.e. the Estee Lauder Double-Wear Foundation.) To me, some formulations just cannot be matched and that foundation is one of 'em. However, I tried to scope out as many awesome comparable products as I could find...and find I did!

I think we all deserve need to treat ourselves now and then on a cashmere sweater, expensive perfume, luxe handbag or department store facial cream -- hey, we're women and we work darn hard -- but, it's always an amazing feeling to find a bargain. Hope you enjoyed this post as much as I enjoyed researching/writing it!
See y'all tomorrow. Be good or be good at it, ladies.
LOVE this post!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Ann! Glad you enjoyed!!
DeleteI love these posts, Leslie! You are my go to!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you are enjoying these!!
Deleteohh loving that gold nail polish!! xo jillian - cornflake dreams
ReplyDeleteIt seriously is even prettier than the expensive brand - gorgeous and perfect for the upcoming holiday season!
DeleteThese are awesome suggestions! So excited to try a few of them - especially the elf blush/bronzer duo. My Nars one is almost gone and I have not been looking forward to dropping the coin to purchase another one!
ReplyDeleteYou won't be sorry for buying the elf. It's amazing and honestly, I think I may have even liked it better than my Nars!
DeleteOkay. I'm bracing myself because I'm about to make myself seem like a fool on here. I can't even remember how long it has been since I have listened to it, but Bigmama and Boomama did a podcast at one time and they both swore that there was a Rimmel mascara that worked JUST as well or even better than Dior's. mascara. I know the question is stupid because I know very little about what I'm asking and giving you very little to work with. BUT I'm throwing this question out there because I figured if anyone could help me figure out which Rimmel mascara is THAT awesome...it would be you. Thanks, Leslie.
ReplyDeleteDo not feel like a fool at all, girl! I remember that podcast! Okay, I think it was the Rimmel Scandaleyes Retroglam. I can also say that Maybelline's Falsies mascara (in the blackest black color) is phenomenal. Give that Rimmel a shot and if it's a flop, try the Maybelline because I know from personal experience that it's amazing!
DeleteThanks, Girl!
DeleteWonderful recommendations! Definitely going to try some of your suggestions! And I already went to Amazon and ordered the Hydraluron (love that I had a gift card). My skin has been so dry since it's gotten cold - hope this helps. Thanks again for all the info.
ReplyDeleteYou will LOVE the Hydraluron. Seriously, one of my favorite recent buys!
DeleteLove these posts! I'm always on the lookout for new products to try, but buying only all high end would totally break the bank for me! Excited to try a few of these out - especially that dark lip color...LOVE!
ReplyDeleteThis was fun to read. I will definitely be checking out the Loreal lipstick!
